Below we inform you about the collection and use of personal data associated with the use of this website.
Personal data is all data attributable to you personally, e.g., your name, address, e-mail address or user behaviour. The service provider within the meaning of section 13 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and the responsible entity within the meaning of section 3(7) of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) is schwartz GmbH; please refer to the Legal Notice section.

Contact form
Feel free to use our Contact form to send us an enquiry. The personal data you provide will be used exclusively for purposes of responding to your enquiry. Once your enquiry has been fully processed, the personal data transmitted will be deleted except where it must be preserved by law (e.g., because of retention periods imposed under tax law or commercial law). In no case shall it be used for any purposes other than replying to your enquiry, nor will any data be passed on to third parties.

Service enquiries
This website comprises features that allow our customers to submit enquiries to our service department. Any data you provide in this context will be used for the purpose of processing your enquiry. Furthermore, we shall store these data to handle future service enquiries, e.g., under warranty terms. Personal data that are no longer needed will be deleted once processing is complete, provided we are under no legal obligation to retain them beyond that time (e.g., for record-keeping periods imposed by tax law or commercial law). In no case shall such data be employed for any other purpose (e.g., advertising). Depending on where our service is to be performed, we will forward data from your enquiry to another member company of our group. For a list of our companies please refer to the “Contact” section of our website. Beyond such use, we shall not forward your data to any third parties.

Customer information
In the context of existing contractual relations with our customers, we send contractual and/or service-related information to the contact e-mail addresses stored in our database. This includes information, e.g., on forthcoming maintenance or servicing, or updated technical information about products purchased from us.
If you do not wish to receive such information, you can opt out at any time by sending an e-mail to service@schwartz-wba.de or by clicking on the unsubscribe link appearing in every customer information mail. To specify another (or an additional) contact in your company as a recipient for such information, just e-mail us at service@schwartz-wba.de.

Online application for employment
Under the ”Careers“ heading you will find our current job postings. Here you have the option to send us a speculative application for employment. If you apply on-line with us, we will initially collect your contact data (salutation/title, first name, last name, e-mail address and telephone number) and, if applicable, the job opening you have selected. In addition, you can forward your application documents in PDF format. All data is transmitted to us in securely encrypted form (HTTPS) by your browser. The application data you provide will be used exclusively for purposes of responding to your application. At the end of the application process we will retain your application data for a maximum of two more months in case any subsequent queries need to be clarified; thereafter, they will be deleted. At the time of sending your application data, you may authorise us (such authority to be revoked at any time) to keep your application on file, even if we cannot offer you any employment at this time, but would like to reserve the option to get in touch proactively with you at some future date if a job opening arises.

Rights to information and revocation
You have the right to request information from us about the data we store about you and its origin, recipient or categories of recipients to which it is communicated, as well as the storage purpose. If you have authorised the use of this data, you may revoke this authorisation at any time.
